Senior Manager

Summary:

Key position to help Topica accommodate our rapid growth. Responsible for building and managing an organization dedicated to enabling Topica’s customers to succeed. Reports to the VP of Marketing and Customer Success.

The Opportunity:

Topica is a fast growing company in the online marketing space serving small and mid-sized businesses. Our Web-based application and marketing services are uniquely positioned to help solve the problem of Web site traffic conversion, a core problem set for our customers. In order to accommodate our continuous rapid growth we are looking for a Senior Manager to help us drive our growth strategies and build an organization dedicated to customer success. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Customer Success, the Senior Manager will be a key addition to the management team that will take the company to the next level.

Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a team of dedicated marketing professionals in charge of enabling our customers’ success.
Build effective relationships with other managers and key members of the team to drive the organization forward.
In collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Customer Success, translate strategic corporate goals into functional objectives and execute against them.
Closely collaborate with team members throughout the organization to resolve business challenges.

Qualifications:
Experience or desire to succeed in a rapid growth start up environment
Desire to contribute to organizational success, as well as achieve professional growth
Strong desire to enable the customer to succeed
Strong problem solving, collaboration, negotiation and diplomatic skills
People management experience
Relationship management or account management experience
Experience with or understanding of software, Internet, eCommerce or b2b focused companies
