Senior Account Executive

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team working in beautiful downtown San Francisco. You will be selling to top marketers, agencies, and brokers so a background and education in marketing is essential. The best candidates will possess a solid understanding of email and online customer acquisition and retention marketing tactics.

A critical factor of achievement in this role is an ability and desire to prospect for new business. As a professional sales position – find/consult/close/service – success requires solid consultative, solutions-oriented sales skills in addition to intense personal energy and focused activity. You will manage multiple sales campaigns and interact with senior-level prospects to solve complex marketing problems, help them understand how to acquire and convert leads, and how to grow their businesses using a variety of Topica solutions. Again, all this starts with you identifying a prospect and generating interest and credibility.


  • 3+ years direct sales experience
  • Email marketing and online advertising sales experience is strongly preferred
  • Successful candidates will be very high energy, highly-intelligent with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. Flexibility and creativity are valued at Topica
  • Must possess strong speaking and presentation skills, as well as outstanding written communications abilities
  • BA/BS required
